Weight loss so far: .6 lbs since last week, 20.6 lbs to date
Yeah yeah, woohoo, or some sh*t like that…basically, that weight loss is from my hair cut (it was ALOT of hair).

I’m really conflicted this week about that reading. I was worried that I wasn’t going to lose anything this week, because my scale has basically been hovering between 245 and 248 the entire time.
But then I lost, so thats cool and all…but…half a pound (.6 to exact)? COME ON! I am glad I lost, and I know that ANY loss is a good loss, but COME ON! I’ve been working my ass off this week…WTF!
I can’t claim total ignorance for this though, as much as I’d like to try (or blame ninjas). The diet’s been a little off, and I haven’t been tracking my food (like I haven’t been doing for a while, but say that I’m going to start, then don’t…ugh) like I want to be. I don’t feel my diet has been as off as Thanksgiving week, but whatever…my body is a mystery.
Regardless, I still lost, so I guess it is WooTworthy. Scale, you better be nicer to be next week, or I’m gonna be so mad at you!
In OTHER news…
Today is the F I N A L day for Marathon Week! The technical difficulties (ie..me being a dumbass) are over and done with, so WooT to that, and everyone is posting AMAZING NUMBERS! So far Jessie and I are finished (but I bumped my goal up to 40 miles, so I still have a bit to go), and most everyone else are coming into the home stretch.
WAY. TO. GO!!!11!!!1!
I know everyone is probably hurting right (at least, I know I am), but we are almost done, and everyone is SOOOOOOO close!
I like these challenges, and I know I will be doing more in the future, just not 100% sure what. If anyone has any ideas, that’d be cool…OR…if anyone is starting up their own challenge, lemme know and I’ll be right there to join ya!

See…I just don’t get the scale. With al the work you did, I was thinking at least two pounds…at least. Makes no sense, b/c I’ve been following your workouts and they’ve been astounding. I’m sorry about this number…but like you said at least you lost. I know it still hurts to see that low number when you work your tail off :/
Maybe next week you’ll have a huge loss if you’re body is playing catch up from the marathon week stuff!

Well, technically it does end Wednesday, but at like midnight to make it a seven day challenge. Today is the last actual day to get stuff in.
I’ve given up trying to understand my body and the scale, but yeah, I could have done better w/ the food choices and all, but I still got alot done and would hae thought that’d count more.
Bah! I got this week, I hope to kick ass.

Congrats on your loss. A loss is a loss. I feel the same way as you and Craig – you’ve been working your ass off this week. I’m in the same boat though. I weighed in this morning and I am WAY up. I don’t get it (ok that’s a lie, I have made poor choices). I have doubled my efforts in the gym, so you think at some point it would be a wash. But no. I am afraid I am going to report a gain this week.

I had gains on my scale up until this morning, so you never know, you might lose in the end (and I hope you do).
I should be happier b/c I’m below 245, and thats the number where I’ve always pretty much quit before, but I’d be ALOT happier if I was farther away from it.
You will be, Steve. You’re way too into this to not be. 245 will be such a distant number before you know it!

Sometimes the scale is not the best measurement of all the hard work you do. In fact a lot of times it is not. Don’t get too upset over it. You might have to work hard this week and next just to see a decent loss next week. Sometimes it works that way. But hey, this week is a loss. No matter what you are headed in the right direction so keep doing what you are doing!

Just finished a 2.01 mile run to make my total for the challenge 26.44 miles! I did it. Now I am going to take a much needed day off!!
That was a great challenge Steve. And it feels great to have pushed myself to do the miles to finish it. I am actually impressed by how much I could actually do.
My scale finally showed a loss today. I wavered between 159–162 since Oct 31. Today the scale showed 157.6 lbs. Yeah! Keep at it, it will come.

Steve, I like the cut. Kinda looks like mine, except I have that landing strip down the middle thing going on. Bump the scale this time. I mean you know the work you’re putting in. The scale will figure it out sooner or later…..
