Progress Report: Week 28
Weight: 230.0lbs
BMI: 33.5
Weight loss so far: .2 lbs lost since last week, 35 lbs lost total
Look ma, weight loss!
My only complaint is that I apparently gained .2 lbs after my shower, because it was reading 229.8 for a few brief moments
All in all, coming off of a 6lb loss last week, I’ll take it. A loss is a loss
And frankly, this week, I couldn’t have really given a crap anyway. I’m still a bit high off of the Holy crap you’re running a half marathon and you ran another 5k buzz, so for this week in particular, the number really IS just a number.
So what’s in store for this week? A bit more C25K, a bit more running in general…maybe some hill running, and just all around trying to go through each day as awesomely as possible
How are YOUR weight loss and training efforts going?

YES a loss is a loss.
Outwardly things seem to be going well…internally I am in a funk…working on getting out of it.
Dude, progress is progress. I always figure even a .2 loss is better than a .2 gain. Roll with it and you’ll see a bigger number next week. Keep up the good work.

showers only make us heavier – what good are they for you anyway! ha.
Yeah – the number is not your 6 lbs…but hey – you lost freakin’ six pounds last week!
keep it up.
I love hitting exact numbers like that. They’re a rarity. You can look back at 4/20/10 as the last day in your 230s … can’t really forget a date like that or that specific number.

Coming off a 6 pound loss, this is great! It’s cool that your scale read exactly 230, you’ve lost exactly 35 pounds, and you’re high as a kite on your 5k/half/full marathon stuff. What a nice day!
Oh, and I love the drops of water on the scale for “after shower special effects!” How Hollywood of you, Mr. Steve!
I’m in a funk workout wise. I did bootcamp yesterday… but just couldn’t get into the zone. I need to step it up but get frustrated when I feel as though it doesn’t matter. agh. Congrats on the 6 though, thats phenom!
Oh, and totally jealous of all yall running your 5k’s. I’m gonna get there…hopefully.
I want a different face… i’m not an angry blue guy… or does he look concerned…

You’re doing such a fantastic job, Steve! And I noticed the water drops like Erin – nice special effects indeed! (And easy to do I imagine).

I’m sure you totally absorbed .2 in the shower, LOL! Stupid shower.
I think my new 5k goal might be to beat you!
It’s all that hair you have being wet :p
Well done, 6 pounds is well amazing! I’m plugging away I have a 10k race this sunday and a half marathon on May 22nd, never mind the fact I have never run more than 5 miles!
I plan to walk/run the half in May and run one completely in September. My big goal this year a race every month, to keep up the motivation.

6 sounds is great! And those .2’s add up.
A half-marathon is a great goal. Good luck!
I agree that it’s a huge success to lose 6 weeks last week and then keep it off. You are doing so well. Keep it up.

Oh. I forgot. Did you? DON’T ’cause you are!
6lbs in a week is awesome! Even with a .2lb shower gain
And you’re a running machine! Keep up the great progress!

Well done! Every loss counts and you’re another step closer to your goal. Stay motivated and empowered, you’re doing a great job!
Pft “maybe some hill running.” That maybe will turn into a “yes” later, unless your headache is really bad. I know you, Mr. Intensity.
Anyway, nice job on keeping the six pounds off and even with a loss. Your body probably needs some time to catch up. HOLY CRAP about the half marathon is right! It’s going to be AWESOME. And yes, I will make you a sweet looking sign that you can print out and make into a cardboard Jess and put on the side of the track

229.8 is official! The scale showed it, it can’t take it back!! hahaahaha You could’ve leaned the wrong way on the scale or something for that much of a difference. The big picture is you’re still losing and it’s awesome! You’re a rockstar, Steve.
You are an inspiration!
Alright, I just might catch up with you again this week
Just kidding man, nice work again this week. You’re rocking it with all your running and spur-of-the-moment 5K’s!

did you drink your shower?
just
you know
FYI
that may impede yer loss
hey Steve! congrats on the loss!! I *never* weigh after the shower, ever. But, uh, my hair is way longer than yours and I think it weighs like 10 lbs wet!!
I myself am having a great week so far, but I’m not really weighing at the moment – been on a really long plateau and the scale was pissing me off so I took a sledgehammer to it… (a mental one)
Way to go Steve, that is awesome. You’re doing it pal! I’m excited for you running the half marathon, the Music City Marathon is this weekend and I am mad that I didn’t sign up. :/ I think I could have ran it! (Okay, well MOST of it.

Hey, a loss is a loss! Good job! I weigh in next week and I’m hoping for a loss as well.
Nice! I like the even # you’ve reached! Training for this half is going to make your weight-loss really go, I swear! Keep up the good work!
